Fabienne Game is a filmmaker and a photographer. She was born in a multicultural family and spent her childhood between her native France, the United States and Mexico. She holds a Masters degree in Political Science (Sciences Po Paris) and worked as a press journalist for more than 15 years. Her interest in photography began during her adolescence, before adding videography. In 2003, she trained in documentary filmmaking and editing at the Ateliers Varan in Paris. Her work has since been showcased on broadcast television in different countries as well as festivals and is also featured on various websites. She has worked with different companies before setting up Gramercy Productions in 2008.
Fabienne is primarily drawn to urban histories, the analog and artisanal manufacturing of objects, the ways in which people tell their own stories, daily life and artforms that are neither “monumental” nor “spectacular”. She is particularly interested in filming people at work.
"I handle the whole video production process: research, editorial and artistic guidance, interview, filming, editing, translation and post-production. Fluent in English, French and Spanish, I can travel anywhere and manage a project/team. I have a strong interest in people, an extensive experience in journalism and I love documentary filmmaking."
